Aslam Bulbulia

Aslam Bulbulia is 4th generation South African-Indian who has been a settler on xwməθkwəy̓ əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɁɬ / selíl̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh) land for the past 7 years. He has a background in Political Science and Philosophy and has done courses in city-planning, Islamic law and spirituality, user-centered design and decoloniality. His current work includes helping leaders and teams navigate and develop their capacity to work with conflict, integrating power and spiritual lenses.
After having hosted cohorts of learners with SFU RADIUS and Centre for Comparative Muslims Studies, in peer supported environments as a model for decolonial education, Aslam is excited to be co-hosting the first ASIxStarfish Youth Environmental Leadership Learning Lab.
