Members Network Mental Wellbeing & Personal Resilience with Todd Kettner

Working in climate action and sustainability can be challenging. Our work is often motivated by a deep understanding and awareness of the interconnected crises plaguing our environment and society. We experience the grief, anxiety, fear, and other emotions that come up when working to mitigate disaster and create a better future. As leaders, and as people, it’s crucial that we tend to our mental wellbeing and find ways to cultivate personal resilience, especially as we navigate the oftentimes heavy burden of climate and sustainability work.

Join this facilitated conversation with Todd Kettner, PhD, Assistant Teaching Professor in Clinical Psychology at the University of Victoria. Todd will help us surface the challenges faced by those of us working in climate change-related roles and help us navigate how we can tend to our mental wellbeing.
