New Research Project Announced! Elevating Equity: Barriers and Enablers for Racialized Women in Climate Action Leadership

ASI is excited to announce our newest research project, Elevating Equity: Barriers and Enablers for Racialized Women in Climate Action Leadership!

Funded by the Toronto Workforce Funder Collaborative with research being led by Shagufta Pasta, this project aims to create a story repository highlighting sustaining policies and practices, as well as system-level recommendations to bolster support and opportunities for racialized women, non-binary, and trans-femme individuals in climate action leadership in Canada.

Shagufta is a thoughtful and creative storyteller who is deeply committed to helping systems, organizations, and people shift into new ways of being through strategic advising, research, and education. Informed by a deep equity and anti-oppression analysis, she has more than ten years experience in Vancouver, Toronto and Johannesburg doing social change work.
